ABOUT ME

My name is Jessica de Vere Green. I am passionate about photography and capturing people and places in their natural beauty. I grew up in the south of France learning to work to live, not to live to work. As I am only in my early twenties I am yet to decide what or where I am going to be in the next five years, let alone in the next six months. I do know however, that wherever I am, my camera will be with me.  I love travelling, being outdoors, but most importantly surrounding myself with people I love. At the moment I am based in Nice, in the South of France. I completed my degree in French and Spanish in 2021 and decided to move into the sunshine. 

I choose to shoot in black and white as I believe it truly brings out the expression and the beauty in people and places. I would love to progress and build my name as a photographer to be able to remind people how naturally beautiful they are. With social media being such a huge part of our lives a lot of people have an image in their head of how they should look, be it their weight, their wrinkles or the way in which they dress. In my eyes the best photos are when I catch someone without them even realising my camera is facing them.
